Margaret Angel Ritchey was born December 3, 1924, in Allen, Texas to Walter D. and Bertha Kepler Angel. She passed away on April 10, 2016 at the age of 91. Margaret graduated from Plano High School. She married H. E. “Doc” Ritchey on May 4, 1946 and resided in McKinney for most of her adult life. She worked at the VA Hospital, as a secretary for the First United Methodist Church, Texas Instruments, Director of Camp Fire Girls, Texas Department of Human Resources and Northside Pharmacy. Margaret was known by her family as a kind and loving woman.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Eubanks and husband Larry; son, Rex Ritchey and wife Kim; sister, Jane Uselton and husband Joe; grandchildren, Erin Eubanks Finseth and husband Peter, Jarret Eubanks and wife Katie, Lauren Rucker and Brian Rucker; five great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, her daughter, Annette Rucker Robles; her sisters, Dorothy Dee Angel, Joyce Angel Hargett, Louise Angel Nicholson Kishi, and Catherine Cuffman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 315 N. Church Street, McKinney, Texas with Dr. Don Renshaw and Dr. Thomas O. Brumett officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen,Texas.
