Maree Forté, age 86, formerly of McKinney, Texas, passed away June 7, 2008, in Dallas, Texas. Maree was born September 13, 1921 in Hugo, OK to Harry Clayton and Lucy Jane (Tune) Andrews. She married Raymond Roger Forté, Jr. on March 31, 1944 in Newton, Massachusetts. She is survived by her sons, Steven Forté and his wife, Delia of Cedar Hill, Texas, Roger Forté and his wife, Charlotte of Lawton, Oklahoma, and James Forté and his wife Diane of Hillsboro, Texas; daughters, Lucel Forté Foster of Plano, Texas, Julie Forté of McKinney, Texas, and Becky Forté, also of Plano, Texas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Roger Forté, Jr., three brothers, and one sister. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View, Texas with Chaplain Jack Washington officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
