Marcia McKlemurry Russell of McKinney, Texas passed away November 19, 2019 at the age of 62.  She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 5, 1957 to Dr. Cecil Cedric McKlemurry and Robbie Strong (Robinette) McKlemurry of Hernando, Mississippi.  Marcia was a graduate of Hernando High School in Hernando, Mississippi where she is credited for graduating a year early.  She was married to David Kilgore and from this union their daughter, Julie was born.  Marcia was involved in a tragic vehicle accident in 1986.  Miraculously, she managed to survive and physically recover enough to carry on.  Due to the trauma from the accident, Marcia preferred living her remaining years in quiet solitude.  She enjoyed listening to Christian podcasts and spent most of her time praying and reading the word of God.  Although Marcia was quiet and reserved, she was a very generous woman.  She gave to numerous charities and ministries to include Samaritans Purse, Salvation Army, American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and many other national and global charities. 

Marcia is survived by her daughter, Julie Kilgore Anders and husband, Jerry of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina; sister, Alice Haney and husband, Jim of Joplin, Missouri; and brother, Robert McKlemurry and wife, Jana of McKinney, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no service arrangements at this time. A graveside service will be held at Hernando Memorial Park in Hernando, Mississippi at a later date.
