My beloved Marcelo,

It is still so difficult to find the words to express the pain of saying goodbye to you. Itis hard to accept that someone so joyful, so full of life, and with so many dreams has left us, leaving behind a void that words can never fully describe.

Those who knew you know how much you loved living life to the fullest. You loved traveling, discovering new places, having a good barbecue, gathering with the people you loved, and, of course, cheering for your beloved Santos soccer team! You had a special way of turning simple moments into beautiful memories that have now become treasures for everyone who was fortunate enough to share them with you.

Your family was one of the most important things in your life. Taking care of the people you loved was simply part of who you were. Your kindness, dedication, and even the love you had for your dog showed just how big your heart was.

In November 2025, our lives changed when you were diagnosed with cancer. From that moment on, we faced a difficult journey filled with treatments, two surgeries, hope, and an unwavering desire to overcome the disease. We fought believing that we would still have more trips, more barbecues, more laughter, and many more moments together. Sadly, on October 9, 2026, your journey came to an end.

But you will not be remembered for the illness you faced. You will be remembered for the wonderful person you were, the joy you brought into our lives, the love you gave your family, and all the beautiful memories we created together.

I wish we had been given more time. More ordinary days, more conversations, more plans, and more opportunities to experience everything we still dreamed of doing together. Today, everything we shared means even more, and every memory of you has become a way of keeping you close to me.

Thank you for being part of my life, for everything we shared, and for every memory I will carry with me forever. Love does not end with goodbye, and your story will continue to live in my heart and in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

My love, may you rest in peace. You will always be a part of me. I will miss you forever, and my love for you will last for eternity.

With all my love, forever and always,

Gisele Cristina Leal Paulo
