Marcellia Diane McCord of Plano, Texas passed away May 12, 2019 at the age of 76.   She was born on May 22, 1942 to Frances Vick in Fort Worth, Texas. Marcellia married Charles R. McCord on January 22, 1979. She worked as a bank officer.

Marcellia is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Wade and husband, Raymond of LaRue, Texas, son, Tracy Joe Bishop and wife, Janet of Plano, Texas; son, Scott McCord and wife, Janice of Cedar Park, Texas; daughter, Carmen Mize of Celina, Texas; daughter, Stephanie McCord of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Brandi, Steven, Chantz, Garrett, Ashleigh, Kristen, Austin, Trey, Cody, Rachael, Kaitlyn, Cale and Truet; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jayden, Kaine, Cooper and Maverick; sisters, Laura Yates and husband, Thomas of Allen, Texas, Deborah Yates and husband, Larry of Mesquite, Texas, Ellen McKay of Irving, Texas, Ethel McFall of Mesquite, Texas; brother, Pastor Johnny McFall and wife, Jackie of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McCord; parents, James I. and Frances McFall; and best friend, Troy Joe Bishop.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow the service.
