IN LOVING MEMORY

Marcelino Briseño

Jan 09 1954 - Dec 03 2025

Marcelino Briseño was born on January 9, 1954, in Juanacatlán, Jalisco, Mexico, and entered eternal life on December 3, 2025, in Plano, Texas. He was the son of Guadalupe Peña and Ruperto Briseño. Marcelino was the beloved husband of Maria Ofelia Briseño, with whom he shared 47 beautiful years of marriage. A devoted father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Ofelia Briseño; his children, Veronica Elaine Dominguez of McKinney, Texas, and Albert Rafael Briseño of Prosper, Texas; his cherished grandchildren, Nyah I. Briseño, Hannah A. Briseño, Matthew I. Briseño, Victoria G. Briseño, Rebecca N. Dominguez, and Andrew R. Dominguez; his brother, Fermin Briseño; and his sisters, Eustolia Ulloa and Ramona Apodaca. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Darin R. Dominguez, and his daughter-in-law, Lene B. Briseño.

Marcelino's story began in Puerto Vallarta, where he spent his early years and developed a deep love for the ocean and a spirit of adventure that remained with him throughout his life. At just 18 years old, he bravely set out on his own, moving to Washington State and settling in Wapato, where he reunited with several of his siblings and began building his future. Fate later led Marcelino to Mascota, Jalisco, where, while on vacation, he met the woman who would forever change his life-Maria Ofelia. Just six months later, he moved to Los Angeles, California, to marry the love of his life. Together, they built a home filled with love and were blessed with two wonderful children who meant everything to them.

A hardworking and proud man, Marcelino built a successful career as an independent flooring contractor, dedicating 37 years to the trade he loved. He took great pride in his work, and his dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic earned him the respect of clients, coworkers, and friends alike. Outside of work, Marcelino truly knew how to enjoy life. He found peace in the ocean, joy in traveling, comfort in tending his garden, and happiness in cooking for those he loved. He valued staying active, never missed a chance to go to the gym, and cherished his mornings at the coffee shop, where laughter, stories, and friendships were part of his daily routine.

Above all, Marcelino was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. He created countless memories with his family-filled with adventure, laughter, and quiet moments of love. Known for his generosity, loyalty, and kind heart, Marcelino touched the lives of many and was deeply loved. Though he will be profoundly missed, Marcelino Briseño's love, strength, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
