Manuela “Minnie” (Voss) Behm, age 63, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, in Plano, Texas.  She was born in Germany on September 30, 1957, to Elsa “Mausi” (Becker) Voss and Paul Tanzius. She was adopted when she was 2 years old by Marie Luis (Tanzius) and her then husband Shelley “Lynn” Doles III. Manuela’s adopted mother, Marie Tanzius, raised her in the Catholic faith in Virginia and Texas.  Mrs. Minnie was a beloved Montessori teacher for forty years. Over those forty years, she was loved and cherished by her students, parents, and co-workers. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother and was also known as the neighborhood Mom with her door always open. Minnie was known for her larger-than-life personality and you never left her without your stomach burning and tears in your eyes from laughing. There would never be a day without a big pot of something delicious on the stove and would always make sure you had a full belly. As a young lady, she enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, and having fun. Manuela married her Prince Charming, Eric Behm, in Dallas, Texas, on November 18, 1989.  Minnie is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Manuela is survived by her beloved husband, Eric Behm; her children, Chasity Elam, Charlie Copeland and son-in-law, Michael; Alexandra Behm, and Nathan Behm; and her grandchildren, Kylee Howard, Kaden and Kelby Trevino, Karsen and Knox Faulkner, Camden Randolph, and Skyler Behm. Brothers, David “Andre” Doles and Fabian “Shelley” Lynn Doles, IV.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Elsa “Mausi” (Becker) Voss and Paul Tanzius, and her adopted mother, Marie Tanzius.

There will be a remembrance gathering at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
