Manuela Garcia of McKinney, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away January 19, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on August 25, 1949, in Laredo, Texas, to Demetrio Teniente and Sixta Parra.
Manuela was a woman of immense love and strength, always putting family above all else. She met the love of her life, Emilio Garcia, and they were married on November 29, 1967, in McKinney, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of a large, close-knit family.
As a mother, Manuela devoted herself tirelessly to the well-being of her children and grandchildren. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, and her kitchen always had the delicious aromas of the meals she lovingly prepared. She was known for her boundless generosity and kind heart, always ready to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in seeing her loved ones grow and thrive.
Manuela’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Emilio Garcia of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Claudia Coronado and spouse, Steven of Melissa, Texas; daughter, Sabrina Garcia and spouse, Cleve Byers of McKinney, Texas; son, Emilio Garcia, Jr. and spouse, Keri of McKinney, Texas; son, Ernesto Garcia and spouse, Randoll of McKinney, Texas; sister, Juanita Connell of San Antonio, Texas; Norma Leal and spouse, Florentino of Laredo, Texas; grandchildren, Denise Webb, Aaron Dotson, Gabriella Dotson, Brandon Garcia, Nicholas “Nico” Garcia, Ian Garcia, Talyn Byers, Ashlyn Garcia, Aiden Garcia, Austin Garcia, Addison Garcia, Archer Garcia, Major Garcia; great grandchildren, Kristina Webb, Kendrick Webb and Kinslee Webb, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Demetrio and Sixta Teniente; brother Demetrio Teniente Jr.; brother, Leonardo Teniente; brother, Esteban Teniente; granddaughter, Kristina Marie.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
