Manuel Rodrigo Muñoz

Manuel Rodrigo Muñoz, age 70, passed away on October 6, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas with his family by his side. He was born on February 18, 1948 in Ecuador to Gerardina and Jose Antonio Muñoz. On October 14, 1970 Manuel married Maria Adelina Arichabala in New York, New York. Manuel was a member at Iglesia Buenas Nuevas in Frisco. 

Manuel is survived by his wife, Maria Muñoz; four children, Anthony Muñoz, Maribel Bravo and her husband, Miguel, Christian Muñoz and his wife, Johana and Sandra Muñoz; five grandchildren, Lisa, Adriana, Isabel, Ethan and Aaron; nine siblings; Aloncio Muñoz, Angel Muñoz, Fausto Muñoz, Efrain Muñoz, Aida Muñoz, Cruz Muñoz, Gilberto Muñoz, Oswaldo Altamirano, and Piedad Barros. 

Manuel was a loving husband, a devoted father and a servant of God. Manuel was a man of great faith who was considered by many as a fisher of men. He reached many souls for the Lord with his gentle spirit and overwhelming faith. His faith was unwavering even through his most difficult times. In both his successes and his trials, he quoted scripture. He had many favorites, too many to name. He was respected and loved by all who knew him.  

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents. 

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033,on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 11, 2018 beginning at 10:00 Am with Pastor Rudy Flores officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033.

Christian, I was saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. Times like this are not easy. But as a man of faith, you should rest assured he is gone to a place that has been prepared for him.
