IN LOVING MEMORY

Manda Nicole Maxwell

May 28 1981 - Feb 26 2017

Manda Nicole (Davis) Maxwell passed away on February 26, 2017 in Dallas, Texas after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 28, 1981 in Dallas, Texas to Ed Davis and Cindy (Wood) Davis. She married Aaron Michael Maxwell on November 20, 2004 in McKinney, Texas and from their union came two beautiful children.

Manda graduated from Ennis High School in 1999 and later attended the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2003. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend; to say she inspired those around her would be an understatement. She taught school in the McKinney ISD until 2008 then became a full-time stay-at-home mom. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in McKinney; she loved giving her testimony and telling others about the love of Jesus. She enjoyed every day to the fullest and adopted the phrase, “Faith over fear” as her own. She will be missed greatly by all who shared in her life but her spirit will live on indefinitely in those who love her and those she inspired.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron Maxwell and their two children, Aiden Michael Maxwell and Miley Nicole Maxwell all of McKinney, Texas; her parents, Ed and Cindy Davis; brother Chad Davis and wife Erin, brother Eric Davis; two nephews, Rhett Davis and Rhodes Davis; maternal grandfather, Joe Wood and wife Lou; paternal grandparents, Theo and Paula Davis; mother-in-law, Norma Frick and husband Ronnie; father-in-law, Michael Maxwell and wife Martha; sister-in-law, Leah Graham and husband Mark; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends and McKinney First Baptist Church family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Pat Wood.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in McKinney. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.

Memorial contributions can be made to State Farm Bank, the Aaron Maxwell account, P.O. Box 419001, St. Louis, MO. 63141-9628, that has been set up to fund existing medical and funeral expenses, education funds for the children, future ministry endeavors and a future Manda Strong foundation.
