Mrs. Mamie E. Harbin, age 90, of Princeton, Texas, passed away October 7, 2004, in North Richland Hills, Texas. She was born May 16, 1914, in Dawsonville, Georgia, to William Homer and Bertha Louada (Tatum) Chumley. She married Alvin C. Harbin on December 20, 1933, in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Harbin worked in McKinney as a nurse for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branch, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Malinda Warden of Colleyville, Texas; granddaughters, Lisa Batchelor and husband, Bryon of Grapevine, Texas, Jennifer Jones and husband, Doug of Keller, Texas, and Melissa Perez and husband, Jorge of North Richland Hills, Texas; great-grandchildren, Blake and Bryce Batchelor, Hanna, Hunter and Hailey Jones, and Sophia Perez; sisters, Edna Womble of Princeton, Texas, and Ethel Stanley of Garland, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Bob Warden; sisters, Effie McIntire, Lona Bublitz and Nettie Brockman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 11, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Mike Tignor officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
