Mrs. Mamie L. Cowgill of Nevada, Texas passed away Sunday evening at the Villa Asuncion in Princeton, Texas at the age of 93.
She was born March 9, 1919 in Sulphur Springs, Texas the daughter of James F. and Myrtle Frances Boughton.
She was married to Bill Johnson who preceded her in death and later married W. A.(Babe) Gowgill October 26, 1962 in Nevada, Texas and he preceded her in 2000.
Mamie was a homemaker and a member of the Nevada Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters; Carolyn Hargrave of Farmersville, Texas and Deborah Cummings and husband Mike of Point, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings; Frank Boughton and wife Jean of Cypress, Texas and Myrtle Combest of Garland, Texas and Tampa Polosi of San Antonio, Texas and also by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
