Ma’Lori Renae Brown was born on July 1, 2026, and sadly passed away on August 25, 2026, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of two months.
In Ma’Lori’s two months here, she brought happiness and joy to everyone she gazed upon. Ma’Lori was the beloved daughter of Serenity Brown and Drayton Barnes.
Ma’Lori was the light in our lives. She always knew how to uplift a situation. She was everything we could possibly ask for and more. She made everything right when it felt like it was going left. Ma’Lori spoke through her eyes; it was like she understood and made sure you understood what she was thinking. She was ahead of her time.
Ma’Lori is survived by her parents, Serenity Brown and Drayton Barnes; her two grandmothers, Emma Henry and Shenedra Brown; her aunties and uncles, Keonia Brown, Seniah Brown, Felicitie Barnes, Dante Brown, Denzell McKenzie, and D’Ontea Henry; and her great-grandmother, Linda Glover.
Ma’Lori was preceded in death by Rhonda Kaye Brown, Rosemary Bates, and Queen Olivia Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2026 at Eternity Community Church, 12550 Independence Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75035. Prophetess Matzy Diggs will officiate, and Apostle Kenneth Diggs will deliver the eulogy.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
