Malcolm "Mac" P. Curtis

Malcolm “Mac” Perry Curtis of Allen, Texas passed away March 6, 2014 at the age of 84. He was born May 18, 1929 to William Smith Jack and Geneva Pearl (Ingram) Curtis in Allen, Texas. Mac married Sheila Ariel Dressler on June 22, 1979 in Plano, Texas. He was a lifelong farmer and worked for Allen ISD for twenty-three years before his retirement in 2008.  

Mac is survived by his daughters, Felicia Rogers and husband Phil of Flower Mound, Texas and Jennifer England of Allen; grandchildren, Stephanie England of Dallas, Texas, Sarah Rogers, Rachel Rogers, Alyssa Rogers all of Flower Mound and Garrison England of Allen; sisters, Ledelle Dugger and husband Frank of Van Alstyne, Texas and Melba Joyce Sanders of Allen; nephews and nieces, Dan Curtis and wife Barbara of Allen, Bob Curtis and wife Amanda of Allen, Lauranna Allen and husband Marty of Allen, Charles Curtis and wife Elaine of Virginia, Paul Curtis of Weatherford, Texas, Jeff Dugger and wife Lisa of Van Alstyne, Jan Conner and husband Scott also of Van Alstyne, Gary Sanders and wife Kim of Plano; and several other nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.  

He was preceded in death by his wife Shelia A. Curtis (2003); parents; brothers, Walter Swanson Curtis and Raymond Eugene Curtis; and nephew, Richard Dugger.  

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen with Rev. Phil Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
