Maggie Dowtin, age 8 months, of Van Alstyne, Texas, passed away January 29, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Margaret Kathleen was born May 6, 2007, in Houston, Texas to William Watson “Billy” Dowtin, III and Jill Kathleen Schurr. She is survived by her parents, Billy and Jill; sister, Brooke; brother, Will; grandparents, Gail and Clay Hansard of Wylie, Texas, Bill and Valerie Dowtin of Great Falls, Montana, Judy Schurr of McKinney, Texas and Paul Schurr of Richardson, Texas; aunts and uncles, Paul and Allison Schurr and family of Frisco, Texas; Clay and Allison Hansard and family of Plano, Texas, Aaron Dowtin of Great Falls, Montana, and Thomas Dowtin, also of Great Falls, Montana; great-aunts, Karen Patton of Urbana, Illinois and Barbara Piegari of Olympia Fields, Illinois; god-parents, Amy Bosley of McKinney, Texas and Tim Badour of Richardson, Texas; numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by many including most recently her great-grandmother, Margaret Schurr of Olympia Fields, Illinois. A special thanks to all who helped care for Maggie in Houston and Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
