On October 20, 2025 Madelynn Paige Jolly suddenly passed away in her home in Allen, Texas. Madelynn was born June 23, 2006 in Plano, Texas to David Jolly and Amy Risinger.
She is preceded in death by great-grandparents, June and Charlie Sullivan and Nola Margarett “Gigi” Jolly; maternal grandfather, John H. Wailes; and uncle, John E. Wailes. Madelynn is survived by her parents, David (Amanda) Jolly and Amy (Blane) Risinger; brothers, Rylan Jolly, Caleb Risinger, Lathan Enriquez and Jackson Risinger; sister, Grace Risinger; grandparents, Mike and Dana Jolly and Steve and Sara Quiroz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Madelynn was a beautiful soul who was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a real passion for art, taking after her dad and grandma June. Madelynn was an avid music fan, more recently enjoying classics like Cher and Dolly Parton. She loved being outdoors and exploring new trails in the local area. Madelynn would search out frogs in any water she found. She loved animals, especially dogs, and we all know Zeus was her favorite. From an early age, Madelynn would be the first to step in and help with the younger cousins, she loved taking care of kids. Madelynn was learning how to be a young adult, she wanted to save as much money as she could to prepare for her future. Madelyn was crushing her goals one at a time. She was proud of her Italian heritage, pasta being one of her favorite foods, AND SWEETS! She loved baking cakes and cookies for all of us. Madelynn could organize even the biggest of messes. And was always on time.
While she did not leave behind the biggest legacy, she left her little corner of the world better than she found it. If you were blessed enough to know her, you know her light was shining bright. While we as her family have many questions, we know as Christians, we do not live for answers, we live for God’s promises and we put our faith in Him.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed”
