Mack Jefferson Foster, age 84, of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 20, 2009, in McKinney. Mack was born January 19, 1925 in Robstown, Texas, to Thomas H. and Lydia (Lester) Foster. He married Helen Bogue in 1945 in Quantico, Virginia. Mack was a retired law enforcement officer. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Bennett of Lexington, Kentucky and Patricia McKee and her husband, Dale of Mead, Oklahoma; sons, Jim Foster and his wife, Becky of Allen, Texas, Thomas L. Foster and his wife, Patsy of Norfolk, Virginia, Joseph I. Foster and his wife, Mary of Baytown, Texas, and John M. Foster and his wife, Tracy of Crowley, Louisiana; sister, Betty Holcomb of Pueblo, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Helen. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas with Father Tuan Le officiating. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
