Mable Kathryn Beam

August 3, 1921 - April 20, 2013

Mable Kathryn Beam, age 91, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 20, 2013. She was born August 3, 1921 in Thackerville, Oklahoma to Maude Viola (Massey) Parsons and Minor Parsons. On December 4, 1941 she married Lloyd Beam in Florah, Illinois. Mable was raised in Gainesville, Texas and moved to Akron, Ohio in 1941. Her husband retired in 1978 and they began to travel. In 2004 Mable and Lloyd moved to McKinney, Texas. She enjoyed fishing and sewing. Mable was also very active in PTA.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Beam of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Kathryn Melching and husband, Wayne of McKinney, Texas, Carolyn Trego and husband, Jeff of West Palm Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Bryan Russell and wife, Audra of Pottsboro, Texas, Tara Newkirk of Maui, Hawaii, Rachele McMahan and fiancé, James Davies of West Palm Beach, Florida; six great-grandchildren; special niece and nephew, Donna and Donald Parsons and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minor and Maude Parsons, one sister and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating.

Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m., at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.

Mother, I love you! I have peace in my heart knowing how much you loved me and knowing you will be my brightest Angel in heaven always watching down on me. I know I will be facing many dark days missing you, but until we meet again, I want you to know you will be missed by so many people that loved you, your laughter and just you dear Mother.
