Lynne Feagin, age 70, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Plano, Texas. She was born March 27, 1947 in Marshall, Texas, to Andrew Jackson and Mary Beall Cole. She graduated from ETSU in Commerce, Texas with a Master’s Degree.
She married Ray Feagin in Farmersville, Texas on May 17, 1972. She was a member of The First Methodist Church of Farmersville, Texas.
She and Ray owned Feagin Grocery Store for many years and she also was a teacher in Farmersville. Lynne organized the First Old Time Saturday for Farmersville in 1979.
Lynne is survived by; her husband, Ray Feagin of Farmersville, Texas; sons, Clint Feagin and wife Amanda of Melissa, Texas, Curt Feagin and wife Amy of Melissa, Texas; one brother, Andy Cole of Goliad, Texas; grandchildren: Aaron James, Rylee Kay, Robert Cole and Claire Jo Feagin; one sister-in-law, Cathy Feagin of Farmersville, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Farmersville. Interment will follow in I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
