Lynda (Scarber) Courville, age 77, of Frisco, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born November 20, 1941, in DeQuincy, Louisiana, to Montella (Dunham) and Lee Scarber. Lynda married the love of her life, Douglas Courville, in DeQuincy on February 17, 1962. She utilized her many talents serving the needs of her family as a homemaker.
Lynda is survived by her children, Jon Courville and his wife, Jennifer, of Charleston, South Carolina, Ben Courville and his wife, Hillary, of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Amy Maddox of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren Samantha Courville, Redge Nelson, Ethan Courville, Sarah Courville, William Maddox, Grace Courville, Blair Nelson, Trent Courville, Alex Courville, Kate Maddox, and Blake Nelson; her sisters, Donna Guillory of DeQuincy, Louisiana, and Debbie Walker and her husband, Allen, also of DeQuincy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ryan Courville; her son, Trent Courville; and her parents.
A remembrance gathering will be held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
