Luther Charles Golden of Houston, Texas passed away February 22, 2019, at the age of 57. He was born March 11, 1961 to Charles H. Williams and JoAnn (Golden) Dunbar in McKinney, Texas. Luther was a 1979 graduate of McKinney High School. He continued his education at a trade school where trained as an Electrician. Luther’s hobbies include football and sporting events. He loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Dunbar of Plano, Texas; father, Charles H. Williams of Houston, Texas; son, Emeko Golden also of Houston, Texas; brothers, Calvin Golden and wife Sheila of Desoto, Texas, Scotty Golden of Houston, Texas and Nathan Williams and wife Vonnie of Plano, Texas; sisters, Sandra Golden-Bailey and husband, Shawn of Plano, Texas; and M. Sue Robertson of Plano, Texas and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Luther was preceded in death by his sister, Charlesetta Phillips.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
