IN LOVING MEMORY

Luke Atkins

Mar 23 2002 - Aug 08 2022

Lukas (LUKE) Aaron Atkins, age 20, was involved in a motorcycle accident on Monday, August 8th, 2022 that resulted in his sudden death. Luke was born to Rick (April) & Rebecca Atkins in Crown Point, IN and later moved to Allen, Texas with step-father,  Joe Parsanko, mother, Rebecca, and younger sister, Makenna Atkins; stepbrothers, Zach and Brody Gilliand. He is also survived by grandparents, Juanita and Terry Dietz, Ann Werner and Jim Heller; step-grandmother, Sharon Pine & Tom Parsanko; grandfather, "Paw Paw" Jack Atkins; aunts, Tami & Robert Pratl, Connie Plocinski; uncles, Joey Torsan, Jon Werner, Scott (Laura) Anderson, and Jeff (Misty) Atkins; cousins, Joey, Madison, Wynter, and Vince Gutierrez, Curtis Hailey, and Miley Torsan; girlfriend, Hannah Adamson; and half-sister, Jacqueline Atkins.

Luke worked diligently as a dirtbike service technician at Adventure Moto while taking steps to become a mig welder, and had dreams to own his own shops someday. He was a proud member of the TCCRA (Texas Cross Country Racing Association) and was an avid (intensely avid) dirtbike, motorcycle, and truck enthusiast. He lived a faith based life full of passion and love for others which he demonstrated in the smiles he left with people. He was a wild, carefree, relentlessly driven, playful Spirit and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 followed by a lunch at Texas Roadhouse at 12:30 p.m. and disbursement of ashes at The Badlands Motocross Park.
