IN LOVING MEMORY

Luis Valenzuela Juarez

Oct 27 1956 - Apr 20 2022

Luis Valenzuela Juarez was born on October 27, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona. On April 20, 2022, he departed on his journey to join his father, Rudolph Hill Juarez, his mother, Carmen Valenzuela Juarez, his daughter, Yevette Juarez, his twin siblings, Carlos I and Carolina Juarez, and many other beloved family members in Heaven. The legacy and family that he created on Earth is in strong standing and thrives today with his wife, Lenora, his two daughters, Angela, and Christina and her husband Sean, along with his four grandchildren, Alexander, Alana, Sean, and Samantha. He is also survived by his six siblings, Rose Ann, Ben (Sue), Rudy, Carlos II (Katrina), and Henry (Christina).  Luis was the oldest of six siblings and learned at a young age that he could be the proper older brother and be there for his loved ones by delivering unconditional love and support for them. With this said, his unwavering support, big heart, and pursuit for peace are standards in his life that define the type of man he was. Though life gets difficult, Luis would always find a way to bring peace to himself and create a pocket of time to reach out to family to make sure they are okay. Between the late-night calls to and from his family members, he would rather lose sleep than dismiss a call and miss out on the opportunity to be present. Luis was a man who had worked his life managing all types of tasks that would scream “something only Louie could do”, but the aspects of his life that truly made his life unique is the pride he held in creating such a beautiful family with Lenora. Though he did live his life as Luis Juarez, his life as a father, brother, uncle, and grandfather was undefeated, and you could see it in his eyes when he visited with family. Family was such an important thing to him and he was one of the main pillars throughout his extensive family. Luis had a multi-decade career in key leadership positions with Smitty’s and Vons supermarkets in Arizona and California. He was a business partner in Damon’s Steak House, Glendale, California.  Luis was a dedicated member of the McKinney Texas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution serving as VP of Awards.    Luis’ legacy will live on through countless generations with as many hearts and lives he has touched and loved.
