Luis Jonathan Elguera Jauregui, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 30.

Luis was born on August 11, 1995, in Mexico to Jose Luis Elguera Tierra Blanca and Maria Gabriela Jauregui Martinez. In the early 2000s, his family moved to McKinney, Texas, where he was raised and attended local schools. He graduated from Princeton High School in 2013 and built a life rooted in hard work, faith, and family.

Throughout his career, Luis worked at Allen Event Center and Honda of McKinney before joining Encore Wire, where he dedicated nearly ten years of service and earned the respect of his coworkers as a Team Leader through his strong work ethic and leadership.

Mutual friends introduced Luis and Andrea, and the two began their relationship in 2013. Their friendship grew into a lasting love, and they were married on September 9, 2020, in his hometown of McKinney, Texas. Together they built a life filled with love and unwavering support for one another.

Luis had a passion for anything with a motor. He loved fast cars and RC cars, often taking them apart simply for the enjoyment of putting them back together. He also enjoyed working out at the gym and going for runs around Towne Lake. Whether pursuing his hobbies or spending time with loved ones, Luis brought energy, enthusiasm, and joy to every moment.

Those who knew Luis will remember his contagious smile, quick wit, funny faces, and ability to make everyone around him laugh. No matter how busy life became, he always made time for his family. His kindness, generosity, and playful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Luis was a devoted member of the Catholic faith and worshipped at St. Michael Catholic Church for the past 19 years. His faith guided his life and strengthened the love he shared with his family and friends.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted son, cherished brother, loyal friend, and dedicated coworker. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Luis will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
