Lucy “LuLu” Helen Crockett of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 27, 2018 at the age of 99. She was born on April 7, 1919 to Charlie and Ella Mae (Brooks) Crockett in Melissa, Texas. Helen was a member of Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church “The Mark” in McKinney, Texas.
Helen is survived by her sisters, Martha Wattley of McKinney, Texas, Myrna Allen of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Mae Etta Gatson also of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ella Mae Crockett; five brothers, Joe Crockett, George Crockett, E. J. David Crockett, Cecil Crockett, Robert “Bob” Crockett; and one sister, Mollie Sanders.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church “The Mark”, 1308 Wilcox Road, McKinney, Texas 75069 with Rev. Henry Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas on Friday, May 4, 2018 at their convenience to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
