Mrs. Lucile I. Smith, 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 4, 2006 in McKinney. She was born November 8, 1919 to Charlie Richard and Elizabeth Modina (Murphy) Scalf in McKinney and married Eugene W. Smith, January 21, 1939 in Sherman, Texas. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Forest Grove Christian Church and is survived by her grandson, Augustus Eugene Smith and his wife Christina of Bonham, TX; great grandson, Bryant Eugene Smith of Bonham, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband and son, Gary E. Smith, 6 brothers and 6 sisters precede her in death. Services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at 12:00 Noon in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ken Crawford and Rev. David Kautt officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive guests from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Monday evening.
