LTC Morris C. Frost (Ret.) of Allen, Texas passed away on May 30, 2017 at the age of 85. He was born on July 7, 1931 to Alvin and Francis (Smalling) Frost in Choudrant, Louisiana. Morris married Ada Moyers on October 31, 1952 in Big Sandy, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for over 25 years. He also coached and taught high school geometry for 21 years. Morris was a member of Duncanville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Hella Shrine Temple, and a longtime member of the Duncanville Lions Club. He served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church Duncanville. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Allen, Texas.
Morris is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ada Frost of Allen, Texas; children, Debbie Christenson and husband, Max of Odessa, Texas; Timothy Frost and wife, Robin of Allen, Texas; Laura Rickman and husband, Tommy of White Oak, Texas; grandsons, Adam Christenson of Arlington, Virginia; Brett Christenson and wife, Tessa of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; David Christenson of Plainview, Texas; Aaron Frost of Allen, Texas; Michael Rickman of White Oak, Texas; granddaughters, Ashleigh Frost of Allen, Texas; Lindsey Rickman of White Oak, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and five sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 201 E. McDermott Dr., Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Private interment with Military Honors will be held at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas in his memory.
