Loyd Malcolm “Mickey” Pogue of Allen, Texas passed away July 16, 2019 at the age of 66. He was born on May 22, 1953 to Arthur Pogue, Jr. and Wanera (Espy) Pogue in Meridian, Mississippi. Mickey was a graduate of Pearl High School in Pearl, Mississippi. He studied Art at Hinds Community College in Pearl. Mickey married Kedron Suber on August 20, 1988 in Gulf Port, Mississippi. He was also an accomplished musician who was well known amongst other prominent musicians. Mickey played both acoustic guitar, electric guitar as well as the piano. He wrote and scored music for other artists. Mickey was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Kedron Pogue of Allen, Texas; sons, Jeremy Michael Pogue and wife, Dawn of Allen, Texas and Chastain Cannon of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Haley Pogue and Joshua Pogue, both of Allen, Texas; brother, Anthony Troy Pogue and wife, Terry of Moselle, Mississippi; sisters, Pamela Poole and husband, Max of Richland, Mississippi and Iris Lowther of Nashville, Tennessee; and brother-in-law, Jim Suber and wife, Andy of Brandon, Mississippi.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Wanera Pogue.
