Lowell Clyde Chambers of McKinney, Texas passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born on August 12, 1929 to Charles Ira and Mary Lattius (Durbin) Chambers in Competition, Missouri. Lowell grew up in Missouri and graduated from Competition High School. He earned a Bachelor of Physics degree from Missouri State University. Lowell worked for Texas Instruments and Western Electric until he decided to open his own business, Chambers Orchard, a peach orchard in Bells, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Chambers of McKinney, Texas; children, Richard Chambers and wife, Gayle of Plano, Texas, Mike Chambers and wife, Lynda of Allen, Texas, Carol Green and husband, Robert of Portland, Oregon, and Lisa Fowler and husband, Jim of Brownwood, Texas; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sister, Betty Dill of Conway, Missouri; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Chambers; brothers, Delmer Chambers and Wilburn Chambers; sisters, Charlotte Anderson, Cledith Sherrell, Dorthy Brown Douglas, and Lucille Winters.
