Louise Rohrer Rayburn

Louise Rohrer Rayburn of Allen, Texas passed away May 3, 2021 at the age of 97.  She was born on November 12, 1923 To Chester Clark Williamson and Belva LuRue (Elliott) Williamson in Dayton, Ohio.  Louise married Robert Russell Rayburn on July 5, 1941 in Ohio and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2004.  She worked for Dayton Steel for many years.  Louise was a devoted member of Lucas Christian Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Sharon L. Lillard and husband, Ronnie of Allen, Texas and Carol J. Johnston of Ohio; grandchildren, Danette Louise Biggs, Jay Leo Johnston, Julie Carol Karg, and Shannon Danille Carson; 13 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rayburn; parents, Chester and Belva Williamson; and grandson, Douglas Robert Davis.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.  The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Louise’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/louise-rohrer-rayburn.  After the service, the recorded live steam will be available for viewing at the same link location.  

Should the maximum number of guests be reached, those who would like to honor Louise and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Interment is to follow the funeral service at Allen Cemetery.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.  Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
