Graveside services for Louis Glynn Ausmus, 81 year old Princeton resident, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 3rd at the Wilson Chapel Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday March 2nd from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mr. Ausmus was born December 8, 1927 at Brookston, Texas. His parents were Johnny L.D. and Maggie Valerie Cockerham Ausmus. He died February 25, 2009 at his home at Princeton. He was a truck driver and had served his country in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his son: Charles Ray Ausmus of Princeton, Texas; his sisters: Maggie Ruth Kelly of Powderly, Texas and Johnie Mae Reyna of Hitchcock, Texas and his brother: James Earl Ausmus of Alvin, Texas. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Virginia Ruth French Ausmus, a son: Glynn Earl Ausmus and three brothers: Jimmy, LeRoy and Charlie Mack Ausmus. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
