Lou Ann (Burnside) McKinney, age 49 of Frisco, Texas passed away on May 29, 2006 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born on July 19, 1956 in Grant County, Marion, Indiana to Phil and Mary (Thrailkill) Burnside. She married Barry McKinney on May 3, 2003 in Frisco, Texas. Lou Ann was a Comptroller with Van Chevrolet. Lou Ann’s family wish to let everyone know that Lou Ann lives on as she was an organ donor and through her lives have been changed. Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Barry McKinney of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Julia Thomas and husband, Damon of Austin, Texas, son, Stephen Lake of Frisco, Texas, Darin McKinney of The Colony, Texas, Brian McKinney of Frisco, Texas; father, Phil Burnside and wife, Sue of Sweetser, Texas; mother, Mary Bolinger and husband, Guy of Hartford City, Indiana; seven brothers and sisters; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces,nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at FUMC, 4901 Paige Road in The Colony, TX on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 7:00PM. The funeral service will be held at Needham-Storey-Wampner on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Gas City, Indiana with Rev. Robert Thrailkill officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Etna Cemetery. In leiu of flowers please make donations to Lou Ann McKinney Memorial Fund at a Bank Of America. Any excess donations will be donated to an organization to assist other organ donor families in their time of need.
