Mrs. Lottie Martin, age 78 of McKinney, TX, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005 in McKinney. She was born on May 18, 1927 in Bolivar, TX to Cage Washington and Elsie Nora (Griffith) Williford. Lottie married Henry Martin on September 9, 1944 in Denton, Texas. She was a waitress for many years and also worked for the cotton mill and Wilshire Furniture Company. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Cecil R. and Lavon Martin of Sanger, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Margie N. and Marvin Hill of Valley View, TX, Karen S. and Michael R. Reed of Princeton, TX, and Reta J. and James R. Harris II of Ben Wheeler, TX; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Dean of Pilot Point, TX; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. Her parents, her husband, Henry, one son, Gerald W. Martin, her sisters, Johnnie Jo Sweatman and Lettie Beard, and her brothers, Cage and Jack Williford preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Rev. Danny Olivieri officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday evening.
