Lorraine Bernice Mrozek of Frisco, Texas formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away June 22, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born November 3, 1921 to Peter and Margaret (Barry) Martin in Chicago, Illinois. She married Edward Anthony Mrozek on February 25, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. Lorraine worked at various jobs until the age of 83 and was the first female manager at White Castle Hamburgers. She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
She is survived by grandchildren, Lisa Mrozek of Frisco, Texas, Ice Mrozek of Dallas, Texas, Todd Mrozek and wife Jennifer of Johnson City, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, London Nielsen of Frisco, Texas, Tennessee Mrozek of Johnson City, Tennessee, Tate Mrozek of Johnson City, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Kittie Mrozek wife of Edward Thomas Mrozek of Johnson City, Tennessee; brothers, Jim Martin of Chicago, Illinois, Bill Martin of Chicago, Illinois and several nieces and nephews and other loving relatives.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Anthony Mrozek; son, Edward Thomas Mrozek; sisters, Margaret Lynch and Agnes Prichard both of Chicago, Illinois.
A funeral mass will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012 at St. Phillip Episcopal Church, 6400 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75034 with Mother Janice Krause officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 3:00 p.m..
