Lora Lee Butler of McKinney, Texas formerly of Celina, Texas passed away March 16, 2021 at the age of 97.  She was born on October 11, 1923 to Dreamous Smith and Allen Mae (Wells) Smith in Rock Hill, Texas, west of McKinney.  Lora was married in 1965 to Jessie George Butler in Celina, Texas.  She worked as a cook for Denton State School for many years.  Lora is known, loved, and survived by many friends in Celina, and in both Collin and Denton counties.  She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Lora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jessie Bulter; parents; brother, S.W. “Sam” Smith; and sister, Mary Ruth Brooks.

All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
