Lola Bell Shipley, age 92, of Frisco, Texas passed away March 19, 2010. She was born August 16, 1917 to Myrtle (Abbot) and William Herbert Lee Pace in Van Alstyne, Texas. On April 9, 1973, Lola married Rev. Odis O. Shipley in Dallas, Texas. Lola is survived by her children, Beverly Ann Dorman and her husband, Ted of Plano, Texas, Charles Smith and his wife, Pasty of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Mark Dorman of Little Elm, Texas, Susan Burch of Frisco, Texas, Bradley Smith and his wife, Cheryl of The Colony, Texas, Tiffani Dye and her husband, Daniel of Haltom City, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brittany Dorman, Emily Burch, Connor Smith, Camille Smith, Justin Dye, and Lauren Dye. Lola is preceded in death by her husbands, William J. Smith, Robert Hogan, and Rev. Odis Shipley, and parents, Myrtle and William Pace. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morro Chapel in Frisco on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard Stevens officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, prior to the service, on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the funeral home in Frisco.
