Lockey Jean Hill

Lockey Jean Hill of Princeton, Texas passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born on March 26, 1928 to Hobart James and Minnie Lee (Roberts) Robinson in Prosper, Texas.  Lockey grew up in Lovejoy/ Lucas area where she attended schools and attended Friendship Baptist Church.  She married Willie “Dub” Henry Hill, Jr. on April 23, 1946 in McKinney, Texas.  Lockey was a cafeteria worker for McKinney Independent School District at Greer Elementary until her retirement in 1991.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Lockey is survived by her sons, Austin Hill and wife, Clara of Farmersville, Texas, Michael Hill of Edgewood, Texas, William Hill and wife, Tommie of McKinney, Texas, Roy Hill of McKinney, Texas, Gary Hill and wife, Kris of Wills Point, Texas, and Billy Hill and wife, Paulette of Little Elm, Texas; daughters, Linda Woody of Princeton, Texas, Tina Thiel and husband, Leo of Lubbock, Texas, and Laurie Henager and husband, Harold of Princeton, Texas; daughter-in-law, Anna Hill of Princeton, Texas; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren;  and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Dub” Hill, Jr.; parents, Hobart and Minnie Robinson; son, Tim Hill; brothers, Gerald Robinson and Don Robinson; sisters, Marie Fraze, Dorothy Powell and Ruby Wilmoth.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of invited guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

The service will also be live streamed on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Lockey’s obituary page.

However, those who would like to honor Lockey and show their support to her family may come to the funeral home where ample parking is available. While you remain in your vehicle, you may watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
