Lloyd Wayne Taylor of Van Alstyne, Texas passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 55. He was born on May 27, 1964 to Harold Loyd and Mary Faye (Blalock) Taylor in Dallas, Texas. Lloyd grew up in Anna, Texas where he graduated from Anna High School in 1983. He married Janis Lee Davidson on August 27, 1983 in Howe, Texas. Lloyd worked for Homco for a number of years and worked for Print Art in McKinney, Texas as a maintenance supervisor for almost 19 years. Lloyd could fix anything with his hands, enjoyed cooking on the grill and smoker and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Taylor of Van Alstyne, Texas; sons, Wayne Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas and James Taylor and wife, Charlsie of Trenton, Texas; parents, Harold and Mary Taylor of Anna, Texas; sister, Karen Galindo and husband, Tiny of Anna, Texas; brother, Steven Taylor and wife, Darlene of Edmond, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Patricia Davidson of Van Alstyne, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
