Lisa Kay Wolfe, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, was born on July 31, 1962. Daughter of Kenneth Braxton Wolfe and Sally Ann (Jarvis) Wolfe. Lisa was born and raised here in the metroplex. She graduated with the class of 1980 from Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Texas; and later received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Arlington campus, with a major in Communications. Lisa was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). She loved arts, crafts and cooking and honed these talents through historical re-enactment in the SCA, creating magnificent historical costumes, feasts, and persona play based on medieval history. Lisa was the perfect hostess and loved to plan and attend parties. She loved to serve and cook for others and found joy in giving of herself to those around her: friends, family and anyone in need. A mentor to others, she shared her knowledge and offered advice freely and frequently, even when not requested.
Lisa was a friend to many people, from all areas and walks of her life. She will be most remembered for having a bold personality, a tremendous sense of humor, and for living life – on her terms.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Sally Jarvis Wolfe of McKinney; son, Trevor Braxton Duke of Bedford; daughters, Heather Lesley of Arlington, Ashley Burk and her husband, Terry of Colorado Springs, Co., Jennifer Lauren Fiorenza and her husband, Stephen of Denton; 7 grandchildren, Tristan Lesley, Brianna Lesley, Kenzi Burk, Devlin Burk, Rowyn Burk, Joey Fiorenza, and Sofia Fiorenza; sister, Susan Wolfe Newbold of McKinney; nieces, Jayden Newbold, Marissa Newbold and Savannah Newbold; cousins, Rich Jarvis and his wife, Cynthia, John Stone and his wife, Stacy; and a great number of loving family and friends.
