Lisa Kai (Mukes) Dillard

Lisa Kai (Mukes) Dillard entered into eternal rest while being surrounded by her family on December 25, 2013 after a long term battle with polymyositis.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Nancy Mukes; three children, Anthony “TJ” (Danielle) Waterhouse, Jr., Victoria Dillard and Victor (Ashley) Dillard, Jr.; sister, Linda (John) Kimbley of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren, Decameryn Mitchell, Joseph Henderson, Jaevon Henderson, Dawan Reynolds; beloved nephews, Phillip Jones Jr., Patrick Kimbley, Eric Moore, Charles Anderson and Keith Duff; great nephew and niece, Kaiden and Kirah Kimbley.

Lisa graduated from Jefferson Twp. High School and further advanced her education, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Computer Information Systems from Central State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

She enjoyed her job at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a financial manager until her retirement in 2012. She loved her co-workers, many she thought of as extended family.

A member of Ark Ministries International in Huber Heights, Lisa often participated in the Sister to Sister ministry. She devoted time to volunteering and making snacks for the animals at the Dayton Humane Society. Her favorite activities included shopping, eating at fine dining establishments, beading and making jewelry with family and friends, loving on her pet cat Sable and enjoying her favorite football team the Bengals!

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, George Mukes, Jr. and brother, Winston Mukes. She leaves many aunts and uncles; Jayne Street, Bobby Cochran, Shirley Sears, Davis (Anita) Cochran, Albert (Beverly) Cochran, Alma Cochran, Julia Miller, Gloria (Jean) Hall, Sherri Lee, Brenda Couzens, Judith (Greg) Parker and Toney Couzens,. Numerous cousins and special friends Marlene Johnson and Renee Bush.
