Linda Delores (Ballenger) Lang passed away June 17, 2021 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 76. She was born on September 12, 1944 to Everett Melvin and Mamie Elizabeth Ballenger in Itasca, Texas. Linda married Glenn Wayne Lang on June 27, 1997 in Melissa, Texas. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Anna. Linda was a very faithful Christian who was devoted to her home church. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and wanted all her family to serve God. Linda loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. She would want to see each one again in Heaven. We all love her and will miss her greatly.
Linda is survived by her son, Curtis Lee Morris and wife, Anne of Garland, Texas; daughter, Deborah Griffin and husband, Dean of Oak Point, Texas; daughter, Terri Akin of Allen; daughter, Laretha Brown and husband, Sherman Brown of Celina, Texas; daughter, Kim Franklin and husband, Randy Franklin of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Duncan, Autumn Lytle, Noah Griffin, Chris Morris, Josh Marsh, Amber Akin, Tamara Brown, Tasha Nelson, Chassity Brown, Katie Franklin and Hannah Franklin; great-grandchildren, Easton, Skylar, Addison, Victoria, Taymar, Kamden, Kenna, Kingston, Kyleigh, and a host of other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn “Bubba” Lang; parents, Everett and Mamie Ballenger; brothers, Edward and Al Ballenger; sisters, Billie Lewis, Wanda Bradley, and Ernestine Hammons.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, June 25, 2021.
