Linda Lou (Brown) Pyle, a resident of Frisco, Texas, passed away January 24, 2026 at the age of 75. She was born on October 9, 1950, to her loving parents, Ronald James Brown and Lillian Bernice (Thryselius) Brown in Aurora, Illinois, and graduated from Geneva High School in Geneva, Illinois, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. On January 30, 1971, in Aurora, Illinois, she married the love of her life, Charles William Pyle, Jr., beginning a devoted partnership built on love, laughter, and family.
Throughout her career, Linda worked for Chase Bank. She was a cancer survivor and found comfort as a member of the Care Bears support group. She was also a proud member of the “Linda Club,” a close-knit group of women who all shared the same name and a love of travel—an adventure that even earned them recognition in The Wall Street Journal.
A lifelong Chicago sports fan, Linda cheered faithfully for the Cubs and the Blackhawks. Above all else, she treasured her family. After work, she was happiest at home caring for her grandchildren, creating a place of warmth, love, and constant support that they will forever cherish.
Linda is survived by her daughters: Christine Busboom and husband, Jason of Frisco, Texas, with grandchildren, Blake Busboom and Grant Busboom; and Charyn Ullrick and husband, Dave of Prosper, Texas, with grandchildren, Caitlyn Ullrick and Ethan Ullrick (Lauren Kolodziej); and a host of extended family members and friends, who will miss her and cherish her memory.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Lillian Brown, and her beloved husband, Charles William Pyle, Jr.
In lieu of the flowers, donations can be made to the Lymphoma Research Group and St. Jude’s.
