Linda was married to Gene on April 15, 1966. After 17 years apart, she joined him in Heaven on his birthday. They had met and married while working at Johnson & Johnson in Sherman Texas and later began her thirty-three-year career working as the Elementary Secretary for Whitewright ISD.
Linda was a 1960 graduate of Whitewright High School and remained dear friends with many of her classmates. She was actively involved in her church and community and loved her family fiercely. Her daughters blessed her with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she never missed a moment to spend time with her family and loved attending their sports and activities. She enjoyed traveling, margaritas and LOVED Elvis. She also loved to spend time with lifelong friends, coworkers, and retirees of Whitewright ISD.
While she was most known simply as Linda, her most cherished role was our Mom and Nanny.
A special thank you for all for the caregivers and Guardian Hospice for their gentle care and assistance during this journey.
