IN LOVING MEMORY

Linda K. Techman

May 04 1946 - Apr 01 2026

Linda Kay Techman (Beck) age 79, of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas, surrounded by love.

Linda was born in Coleta, Illinois and raised in Sterling, Illinois, where she graduated from high school before continuing her education and earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. On November 24, 1973, she married her soulmate, Randy Techman, in Cicero, Illinois. Together, they built a life rooted in love, strength, and unwavering devotion for over 52 beautiful years.

Linda was the heart of her family — a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother. She had a quiet strength, a kind spirit, and a warmth that made everyone feel at home. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her impact immeasurable.

She found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments, especially knitting — a hobby that reflected her patience, creativity, and care. Through every stitch, she created not just gifts, but lasting expressions of love for those around her. Her family will forever cherish the warmth of the pieces she made and the even greater warmth of her love.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Randy Techman of Frisco, Texas; her son, Jon Techman and his wife, Jamie, of Arlington, Texas; her daughter, Jennifer Barrychuck and her husband, David, of Little Elm, Texas; her treasured grandchildren, Alison Techman, Keila Barrychuck, Madison Koehn, and Lillian Koehn; and her precious great-grandchild, Kyah Barrychuck. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas Beck of Mt. Morris, Illinois, and her sister, Yvonne Mears and her husband, Loren, of Champaign, Illinois.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Gladys Beck, and her sister, Deborah Castle.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will live on in each of us. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, at 1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. The service will also be livestreamed at the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/linda-k-techman.
