Linda Louise Jones, age 79, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.  She was born in Athens, Texas, on September 21, 1944, to Lillian Irene (McIntire) and Delbert Lorne Cantrell.  Linda attended college and had a successful career working  as a supervisor in the oil and gas industry, including twenty-eight years at Halliburton.  She loved crafting, collecting antiques, decorating, cooking, planting flowers, playing the piano, and spending time with family. Linda was a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt.  She was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew her.

Linda is survived by her beloved daughter, Kimberley Jones and her husband, James Alan Smith of Frisco; her brothers, D.L. Cantrell of Denton and Jerry Cantrell and his wife, Becky of Frisco; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Lillian Cantrell, and her sisters, Delores Freeman and Wanda Daniels.

The funeral service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation beginning one hour prior, at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas.
