Linda Jo (Leake) Dieringer of Allen, Texas passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1950 to William H. and Joanne (Durham) Leake in Denison, Texas. Linda married Eugene Dieringer on November 18, 1989 in Arlington, Texas. She retired from American Airlines and Sabre after a long career working in a variety of roles in Consumer Relations, Central Baggage Service, and Ticketing and Terminal Services. Linda was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.
Linda is survived by her sons, Charles Bailey and wife, Jennifer of Allen, Texas and Bill Bailey and wife, Tamra of Richardson, Texas; daughters, Eugenie Verillo and husband, James of Stratford, Connecticut and Diana Auchter and husband, Thomas of Nashua, New Hampshire; brother, Bill Leake and wife, Debbie of Driggs, Idaho; sister, Barbara Hinkle and husband, Rudy of Farmersville, Texas; grandchildren, Claire Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Calista Bailey, Luke Bailey, Jake Bailey, Thomas E. Auchter and wife, Jessica, Alex Auchter, J.J. Verillo and Christopher Verillo; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joanne Leake, and her husband, Eugene Dieringer.
A funeral mass, officiated by Monsignor John Bell, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1914 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
