Linda Ann Sandel of Allen, Texas passed away December 27, 2018 at the age of 76.  She was born on April 26, 1942 to Leroy Martin Davis and Shirley (Shank) Davis in Gilman, Iowa.  Linda was raised by her mom and Milton Cranfill. She was a 1960 graduate of Permian High School in Odessa, Texas.  After graduation, Linda lived in various Texas cities.  She enjoyed the Destin Beach Club, painting, music, travel and her family and friends.  Linda never met a stranger and was always willing to help out anywhere she could. Linda was a devoted member of Church of Christ.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lawrence Harold Sandel of Allen, Texas; daughter, Dena Simpson and husband Guy of McKinney, Texas; son, Kevin Jones of Austin, Texas; step-daughters, Ruth Lynn Roach and husband, Joe of Austin, Texas and Sandi Baker and husband, Dave of Akron, Ohio; step-son, Rodney Sandel of Taylor, Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy Simpson, Travis Roach, Jordan Roach, Spencer Roach and Isabella Baker; sisters, Billie Jean Brown and husband, Lonnie of Highland Haven, Texas, Ceila Cranfill of Rosenburg, Texas and Judy Cranfill of Riudoso, New Mexico; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, George Howard Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at High Pointe Church of Christ, 3201 North Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75071.
