Lilly Rodriquez, age 74, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away October 31, 2009, in Dallas, Texas. Lilly was born March 5, 1935, in Wharton, Texas, to Mike and Julia (Martinez) Gomez. She married Antonio Rodriquez on September 18, 1952 in Wharton. Lilly was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Rodriquez, of Farmersville, Texas; sons, Jessie Rodriquez of Blue Ridge, Texas, Martin Rodriquez, also of Blue Ridge, Antonio Rodriquez, Jr. of Bonham, Texas, and son, Daniel Rodriquez of Blue Ridge, Texas; daughters, Teresa Fuentes of Farmersville, Texas, Maggie Rodriquez also of Farmersville, Sylvia Ortiz of McKinney, Texas, Christinia Torres of Farmersville, Texas, and Elizabeth Rodriquez of McKinney, Texas; twenty-five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Gomez of Wharton, Texas; two nephews; one niece; and aunt, Mary Gonzalez of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Antonio Rodriquez, Jr., brother, Lupe Gomez, and sister, Jannie Gomez. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas with Father Wilson Blas officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
