His Memories…

Affectionately known as “Pookie” by his beloved family and close friends, he deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He was the ultimate family man, always putting his family first. He was a devoted husband who always went above and beyond to make his wife feel loved and appreciated. His children were his most significant source of pride and joy, and he always made sure to be there for them no matter what. He cherished the time spent with them as he traveled the country supporting and cheering Arian in her track career, cheering and coaching Ian at his football games. He loved cooking their favorite meals, sharing stories at the dinner table, and having life conversations with his son-in-love Colin. In addition, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Valeree and Leah. Life with his children brought him great joy.

He loved talking with his family members and friends over the phone, often calling just to hear their voices, as it brought joy to his heart.

Lewis was an amazingly gifted cook who loved nature, enjoyed outdoor activities, listening to jazz and gospel, watching sports (especially professional football and his Pittsburgh Steelers), and working out.

Lew was always caring, kind, and willing to lend a hand to help his fellow neighbor. Lewis would often help his neighbors with landscaping and home improvement projects. He was known in his neighborhood for his kindness and gentle spirit.

He had a special relationship with pride and joy for his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He loved to share his knowledge and experiences with his family.
