Mrs. Leta Mae Vickrey, age 81, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 21, 2010, in Farmersville, Texas. She was born March 13, 1929, in Plano, Texas, to Thomas Hugh and Flora Ethel (Wolfe) Rogers. On August 6, 1955, she married Wendle E. Vickrey in Rockwall, Texas. Mrs. Vickrey was a Quality Control Inspector for Texas Instruments with 35 years of service. She is survived by her children, Linda Birch and husband Eddie of Ft. Worth, Texas, John Vickrey and wife, Elsa of McKinney, Texas, Sandra Spence and husband, Scott of Farmersville, Texas, Debra Copeland and husband, David of Princeton, Texas, Wendle Vickrey and wife, Beth of Anna, Texas, Keith Vickrey and Lisa Weems both of Princeton; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Lee Rogers and Doyle Wayne Rogers; and many other loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Vickrey was preceded in death by her husband, Wendle; one grandchild and one great grandchild; sisters, Edith Bolin, Alma Jean Jones and Mary Elva Hellner; brothers, Wallace Rogers and Roy Rogers. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning 6:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
